are you joking? it contains some of his best tunes ever.
the only negative thing I can say about it is that these
b-sides deserved to be released in their original format
and not in edited form.

even better would have been a double album including all
the b-sides in total.

Full versions of:

She's always in my Hair
Feel U Up
Scarlet Pussy
Shockadelica
Hello
Escape
Another Lonely Christmas

drool

Totally agree. If only all of the b-sides had been included, in their full-length versions, then it would have been perfect.

How anyone can call an album with "She's Always In My Hair" and "La, La, La, He, He, Hee" a "pile of steaming poo" is beyond me!

Not to mention Erotic City & Irresistable Bitch

If this were an official album in its own right, it would be a resident of my personal top 3 Prince albums. Fuck Sign o' the Times. I enjoy The B-Sides even more.

I've listened 2 the B-sides CD more than the Hits CD! And of course it would have been better with the extended versions plus Love Or Money, Alexa De Paris, God (instrumental), Violet The Organ Grinder, Purple Party Mix, Horny Pony and anything else that I forgot. It also should have been sold as single CD. This is the 1 people would have run 2 buy but at that time it was selling 4 50 bucks.

the bad thing about the b side disc is the fact there are some songs that should have been on there and some that should not have. Escape and la la la he he he should not have been on there and Alexa De Paris and Love or $ should have.

Funny how I think La, La, La, He, He, Hee is one of the prime examples of Prince getting down with the funk, turning a dare into a great jam, with a funny, but great beat, and a marvelous hornsection.

Parts of this song (the doggie beat and the hornsection) were incorporated at the end of When Doves Cry on the Sign The Times tour.

But the extended version is what should have been released, as most of the fun is in the extended part... but alas...

Why do people always say this?

I mean, I like Chaos and Disorder, but I don't accuse the many people who don't like it of not being true fans. confuse

The problem with the b-sides for me is that the versions of songs used on it where the short versions, which are ok, but not great. I love the long version of "Hello" (one of my favorite b-sides), but found the short version dull.
