first time i ever saw him (well first time i distinctly remember) was
his video for "i wish u heaven" and i just thought he was different n
cool and that song sounded unlike anything else on the tv at the time

it made me a fan. never really questioned his sexuality at all in the
beginning. lovesexy was the first LP i ever bought by any artist lol.
and even the cover didn't make me think he was gay. perhaps i was too
young and naïve back then to even really understand the "concept" of
being gay.

just listened to the music and thought he was the best musician ever,
that was enough for me.

to be honest, i never doubted his sexuality until the first time i've

the very first time i ever seen a picture of 'im was seeing a copy of lovesexy at the record store by my house when i was 7. all i thought about it was "haha, he's naked!" The first time I saw a picture of Prince was on the cover of the "Let's Pretend We're Married" single. I didn't think he was gay, just freaky.

the first time i saw Prince and really paid attention to him was when i saw the "Little Red Corvette" video. i wasn't quite sure WHAT to make of him at first, to tell you the truth. he was definitely unlike anybody i'd seen before. i was only about 14 at the time.

i do remember thinking the purple coat was very cool and that he had gorgeous gorgeous eyes, and that i'd never before seen a man wearing (and dancing like that) in such high heels.

his sexuality never even entered my mind that first time i saw him, or as i became interesed in him and his music. i was just intrigued by him and impressed by the music, by his dancing, and by how amazing looking i thought he was.

and then when i started listening to his albums and learning more about him, i definitely never thought him to be gay, what with all the sexy lyrics and obvious obsession with women, and the women with whom he was rumored to be romantically linked. in fact, despite the feminine characteristics and all the lace and makeup and stuff, i came to view Prince as more male and sexy and sexually interesting than any other human male i'd ever come across.
