it sounds like it was recorded in the mid to late 1990's
it has that "Dolphin/Dinner With Delores" sound to it.

i always thought it must be something he wrote for mayte
at the time after some fight or something.

i have often wondered too, which one of them inspired the song. i would think mayte, but then again, his whole deal behind musicology (as he stated) was about making new music, and putting the old stuff behind you...so why would he pull an old song from the vault to use?

yea, it really does..that is why it was so puzzling to me. it DOES sound like vault stuff, yet he was on this trip about making new music and leaving the old behind, yada yada.....million days is ok, not one of my fav's on the album. felt the same for cinammin girl....didn't really care for that one either.
