maybe (contrary to some people's belief) he and Mani don't want a child at this particular point in time. and some women either cannot tolerate hormonal contraception methods such as the Pill, or they just don't want to take them for other medical or personal reasons. a husband and wife using condoms as birth control isn't that uncommon. geez i can't believe i'm commenting on this subject.  | |

First... there is no way that Prince (maybe Mani) went into Rite Aid, much less bought condoms.
Second... Zelaira... your CAPs/lower-case writing style makes it extremely difficult to read your posts. I don't know if you're aware of that. zelaira hon..nothing personal, but you need to learn to read what is written, instead of interpeting it to be what you THINK is written. no one on here is "knocking" P for having a sex life. No one on here is "knocking" P for possibly buying condoms, or something else of a sexual nature. I never once condemned him for doing any such thing, nor did I say he SHOULDNT. Prince Has Always Been Private. We only knew things from these TELL TALE Autobiographies. He Never gave Interviews. He seemed to NOT Want all the LIMELIGHT and PHOTOGRAPHERS taking Pics. He wanted Low-Key. He Has Been MUCh MORE ACCESSIABLE and FORTHRIGHT as of Late, I Like it cause he IS SMART and SHOULD TALK and SHOW OTHERS just HOW SMART he Is. In That way Prince Has CHANGED. whether this gossip item is factual or not  , why on earth do you think Prince wouldn't buy condoms himself? [although, to be fair, this bit of gossip did not specifically say that what he and Mani were allegedly buying *were* condoms, just "items of a more intimate variety" and implying those items to be sexual in nature. damn they could've been buying KY or even something lame like baby oil or candles or something. everybody just started ASSUMING they were buying condoms]
he is a grown, mature man and Mani is a grown, mature woman and they are married. so they might've bought some condoms at RiteAid. so the fuck what? buying condoms might embarrass a 15 year old kid or shock 81 year old Gramma Bertha -- but Prince, despite being a 'private person' and now a bit more conservative than in his past, still seems to be a very sexual person and hasn't ever really shown himself to be one who'd consider it to be any huge deal to buy a package of rubbers. in Minnesota he's been known to go into grocery stores and buy cookies and pop and other shit for himself, why not a package of condoms? do you think a grown (married) man being seen purchasing condoms is somehow scandalous or humiliating or something? do you think Prince should be embarrassed that people might see evidence that he and his wife have sex and use condoms? imo, Prince IS a private person, i agree with you there, but he'd be way more apt and comfortable being seen publically buying condoms for he and his wife, than he'd be going into the drugstore and purchasing a big ol bottle of Kaopectate or a tube of PrepH or something. i personally see nothing surprising about Prince being seen buying condoms. whether this bit of gossip is true or not, that's another thing... yikes! nooooo, no columnist here! Yes, I used the word condom first...I was using it as an example only, you know like...why would he buy "condoms" himself....type of thing. And I never meant he shouldnt use them or buy them , but i do appreciate you taking the time to understand my point in my last post above  (and i meant that honestly, not sarcastically. i know sometimes it is hard to tell someone's intent by something they type). | |
