WHERE the HELL is ANDRE ANYWAYS?

I've been wondereing what he's doing also. He's always been my favorite from the Prince camp.

I asked the same question last week? Since it's nearing the holidays, I'm pretty sure he's going to be visiting family. If anybody spots him, tell him to return to music. The music scene definitely needs his talent...

I'd love to have some more music from him but I'm afraid if he returned, he might make the same type of music that these current artists are making in order to make money. That would totally ruin his reputation. I'd rather see him retired first. Now if he makes something great like he used to.....that's another story.

You and I share the same fear. Look at Flyte Tyme now, The music coming out of there is indistinguishable from everybody else. I hate this current trend in music. I like some rap and hip-hop. But we need variety! I find myself listening to more and more of Prince and the Minneapple sound to break the monotony. We need Cymone to come and be Cymone...not a clone. I'm sure he has some old songs never released in his vault, I'd love to hear them.

I hear ya. Jam and Lewis' stuff has been horrible for years now. Also, look at Morris Day's album "Guaranteed" and the new studio tracks on the most recent live album by The Time....horrible.

I'm pretty sure I read about him being at Paisley Park recently. Maybe the 2002 celebration? Can anyone confirm this?

The buzz during the celebration was that he would show, but in the end he opted to stay home.

When I recorded with Andre back in 95 and early 96, he said that he had spoken to P quite recently. I'm saying that to say it seemed that P and Andre were still fairly close, considering. Andre's mom took care of P for awhile. They were really like brothers. A bond like that is kinda hard to break. I think there's love there, so yeah, they probably still rap to each other.
