You seem quite passionate and fun loving, very much able to express yourself with intensity without stepping on everybody's toes. You assume your inner energy without being disgustingly self-centered like so many people with a strong personality. You can "feel" people around you without touching them -- so you have empathy too. I guess it's quite a balancing act to be you but you pull it off most days. A lot of people are quite polarized in their personality but from what I can tell from your song selection, you can handle two poles or three.

Again the joy and pain theme that seems to run rampant among Prince fans, But in your case pain is not always avoided at all costs -- you even seem to end up trying to use it constructively. Are you the kind of person who cannot hold a grudge for long? It wouldn't surprise me, as it appears you don't want to waste your time dwelling on the negative. I even suspect you secretly think you can almost turn the negative into something positive, at least at some personal level.

Something in the Water and Computer Blue are both songs about sexual and romantic frustration and the urgency of finding release in your terms before you explode. Dionne is a "could have been you" song, so again disappointment. Shhh is about finding it but keeping it secret. So we have a lot of love denied here, and frustration leading into intense expression of romantic/sexual anguish, capped with a vow to keep the love you find secret so it cannot be shattered. There's also an healthy amount of narcissism, probably warranted the size of your talents/skills. It could be that you are unwilling to compromise your personal vision and that all this intensity often makes it hard to find true intimacy you can keep alive at this point. In any case I wouldn't worry -- it's a typical place to be for someone with an artistic temperament in his twenties. Of course, I may be completely off track.

Three songs about fun and sex, two songs about undying devotion. So you're passionate in love and sex, like they say Prince's female fans are supposed to be. I guess a woman like you is kind of high maintenance in a fun way for a guy man enough to handle it all. If you get in a relationship with someone that is similar in temperament, I suggest putting the good china away.

I gotta draft a standard assessment for those who pick Prince's most sexually-charged songs. However, it's interesting when a woman picks them, because presumably they are "U" but it can also be that they identify with Prince and are " eye ". Also, are the sex songs an erotic stimulant or the soundtrack of a horny life? I actually know people who literally need to listen to some Prince to get in the mood, while for others the songs just go well with their overactive libido.

In any case, you picked Kiss and The Beautiful Ones, which are more romantic, but still ultimately about doing it with that special someone. That would appear to disqualify you as a person only interested in sex, That's healthy although there would be nothing wrong with you simply having this libido overdrive.

Conclusion : you are sexually preoccupied with a romantic streak of undetermined proportion. The sex aspect makes it hard to assess your personality, which isn't really palpable through this song choice.

It looks like you realized early on that you needed to accomodate your powerful libido. Of course you're not just about sex, but it appears to be the glue that holds you together. Without a decent sex life, you can barely get out of bed in the morning and would be no good to anyone or yourself. Your personality seems to have solidified around this central truth. You're the no nonsense type who dislikes cheap sentiments and think people should be less emotional and more carnal and practical. You may have a tendency to be too categorical -- you are not for the faint of heart.

You seemed to hit me pretty close to home. While I try to avoid painful things, different situations come up beyond my control that can be aggravating or frustrating. I do try to keep positive even when I'm dealing with adversity, but I don't think I succeed very well at that. Nonetheless, I do try to make lemonade out of lemons. You have something to this 5 song assessment. You better get your patent made! biggrin

YEP - that is exactly it! It is hard to feel so much and not offend or overpower another's opinion - especially if you view it in an entirely different way!
