I know we've just had the flipside of this, but the lists were too long to read, and I thought this would be more interesting. It kinda ties in with Zelaira's post (which we've had many times I thinK), but I don't remember this q being posted.

As for me, the only album I've never owned is:

The Vault - just never could get the motivation up to buy it.

Oh, yeah, plus:

The Hits (why buy 3 disks when you only want 1 of them?)
VBOP (duh!)

But I don't count them.

I used to own:
D&P, but i left it to my brothers when I left home, coz I was well over it. That was 12 years ago, and I've never been motivated to re-purchase it. I did the same with PR, which I didn't own for about 7 years, till I got a craving for it about 5 years ago. Actually, the only time I thought about getting D&P again was about 3 years ago when I listened to all P releases in order over about a month - I wanted D&P to fill the gap, but I couldn't find it in 2nd-hand stores!

Controversy, For You, and Prince... That's it, got all the others.

As for the reasons, I'm taking my time collecting his stuff, and these three releases simply haven't intrigued me like the others have. I'll probably pick all three up in one shot.

Just the Very Best Of Prince. Even if it had one new track I would have bought it...

I'm guilty of not having a lot.....and most of the ones a do have are TAPES!!!!! Let's see, I don't have

D & P got lost in a move along w/BATMAN(who cares)and SOTT & TGE on casette which is a MAJOR BUMMER 2 of my FAVE albums.....but it's on my Christmas list, so I'll be gettin' them again soon.
