Does P sing on...

I think it's called "Dance to the Music" by Bootsey Collins.
It's credited to Bootsey and "The One".

Infectious groove..and sounds SOOOOO much like P.

Anybody?
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

'One' featured. and has sometimes been credited with co-writing, two songs on Bootsy's 2002 release. Some rumours spread after the release that 'One' was Prince. Bootsy then went on record to state that whilst the suggestions had been amusing, 'One' originated from Cincinatti and was not Prince.

It could be Prince but:

1. Bootsy says it isn't.

2. No-one has ever provided a scrap of evidence to confirm that what some people think is Prince, is actually Prince.

3. Prince has never commented in public on the subject as far as I know.

4. Where 'One' has been credited on two occasions with co-writing material on Bootsy's album, there is no corresponding copyright credit or registration for receipt of publishing monies which has been identified as in any way connected with Prince (unlike, for example, the overwhelming majority of such contributions that Prince has made when working with other artists, including The Time).

Thanx - yeah that's unmistakably Prince - take the make up off and the false hip, and you can see the years have taken their toll.
