Did Ravel influence Prince to wear a bolero? It's widely known that Wendy and Lisa introduced Prince to a lot of classical music when working with him. Apparently, during his most sophisticated and I guess "most European" musical era (the mid-80s), he really took liking to impressionist and neo-romantic music, such as Debussy and especially Ravel. He was reported to have played "Bolero" at his home non-stop. My question is, did "Bolero" influence Prince to wear a real bolero during the Parade era, onstage and in photo sessions?

That's Funny.....Well, look at MADONNA'S TAKE A BOW! BULLFIGHTERS are SEXY. Ya know that is SOMETHING cause he wears the HIGH WAISTED and the Boots and those pants were like BULLFIGHTERS WEAR the BUTTONS up the leg. I Remember OZBEK the DESIGNER who made pants with the silver ornamentation. Did Prince ever copy That SPANISH DESIGNER'S Gorgeous stuff. Is OZBEK still ALIVE? So did PRINCE DIG 10 since BO DEREK played RAVEL'S BOLERO to DUDLEY MOORE EVERYTIME they MADE LOVE? HAHA!..... [Edited 11/17/05 8:44am]

That's a good question. Perhaps. Another very strong reason is because Jimi also wore a bolero AND pants with white buttons on the side of the leg. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
