Phase change in America Anyone notice that while playing America from the Around the World in a Day album CD, the phase changes in your headphones at 3:18 as the song fades? I bought this album the day it was released and I never noticed this! Go check it out and tell me if you hear it.

I already noticed it a few years ago... But I didn't pay so much attention to it... . [Edited 11/10/05 7:36am]

I have that weird affectation of 'hearing' songs graphically, as if the entire song has form, color and texture and I always 'saw' this song as having a 'tail' since it goes from two stereo tracks down to one mono track at the very end and fades out like a mice tail.
I think it's hard to explain this to someone who doesn't have it. . [Edited 11/10/05 17:04pm]

I know what part you mean.
Once you hear the extended 21 minute version, listening to the album version becomes a bit restricting to listen, sometimes. It's a funky-ass song. Love it to death... Ooh, little darlin' if you're

Yeah i just put it on and could hear it. But it's something most people wouldnt realise. "Man, the living creature, the creating individual, is always more important than any established style or system" - Bruce Lee
