Has anyone seen a music heavy movie at The Uptown? IS the sound good? Is the picture clear? I'm gonna go if someone can recommend that the sound will be loud and clear.

The Uptown is an ooooold theatre with crappy seats. lol. I haven't been in a while, but we are not talking a state of the art sound system by any means. In fact I doubt its even surround sound.
BUT - Seeing Purple Rain there a year ago or so (or whenever that was) was a good time. Sound quality was nothing special, though, so if you're looking for purely that, you'll be disappointed.
