I WONDER WHY PRINCE... won't let other people write songs for him...or has he? | |

Sandra St.Victor wrote the lyrics for Soul Sanctuary, and some other guys wrote the lyrics for Hide The Bone, and sometimes he takes someone else´s song and makes it his own, like One Of Us...I really prefer Prince´s version to Joan Osborne´s ( it´s not written by her though.)...
And then there are the infamous songs where he supposedly didn´t give the due credit, you know, like Do Me Baby etc... Just off the top of my head, I´m sure there are more. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?" | |

Still a great song and a performance but yes it seems that enough people say that he didn't write it that I guess most would say he should give him credit for it. I thought Andre's claim was to writing the piano riff NOT the song. After all this time if Andre was really that good then he would have written himself another one. | |
