What are your 3 favorite years in Prince? It doesn't have to be conseculative(sp?) but which 3 years are more or less your favorites and why? | |

1999 Best Party Album/Dance Album , Purple Rain ULTIMATE SOUNDTRACK, The 3rd is Hard cause the man has MANY ALBUMS I'll say SYMBOL though Since it was his FIRST Under the NEW Name and With Mayte and NPG. I'll say all these are Significant to his CAREER. And We didn't talk about LOVESEXY Or Gold Or RainBow Children. It's Basically IMPOSSIBLE with Such a BODY Of WORK. Let's just say....MILESTONES to CREATIVE GENIUS! | |

I had to break it up in 2 sections.
For his music: 1982 1984 1986 Personally: 1986 - first album 1991 - became a diehard and Prince was everywhere 2004 - the tour and all the friends I made from it [Edited 10/29/05 18:49pm] I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

Although I became a fan only in 93, my fave Prince years are:
1987 - SOTT and Madhouse - Prince at his best musically and lyrically and starting to dive into the jazz world - need to say more? 1995 - The Gold Experience - his best album from the 90s IMO...my fave Prince band. 2001 - The Rainbow Children - the beginning of a new era - the end of the dark period (97-2000) and Prince starting to focus more on music. |
