Well, I would say that Pray used a sample lifted from When Doves Cry - but I wouldn't class it as something Prince 'co-wrote'. Otherwise you would have to James Brown 'co-wrote' all those hip-hop songs that lifted his yelps and drums.

but "pray" so heavily samples "when doves cry" that there'd be no "pray" without it
