Prince is a Cool Ass MoFo...

Well he is...I was watchin some of his past performances that I have on my PC and video. You can tell this man was born to perform and was blessed with all the tools. If you watch anybody else perform, that's what it appears they're doing 'performing'. For example during the NAACP Image Awards performance last year, (which I still haven't stopped talkin bout, cuz him Sheila, Morris, Jerome and the rest of the band TORE IT UP!!) He jumps out into the crowd of his peers (meaning other celebs) and is as comfortable as the captain of the high school football team walking through the halls. This man can throw a show! Even amongst his peers (MJ, Madonna, Bowie and other cross generational stars) he shines, steals the show and even makes them gauk in amazement and admiration. We all know the man rehearses the show and all, yet when it's performed its like they're just up there havin fun and nothin else. And when the man pulls out the Bass Guitar (which I had to put in capital letters) it's like a porn star pulling out his dick or peeling off her jeans revealing a juicy butt during the opening scene. Money is no excuse this year, I'm doing atleast 3 Prince shows when he goes on tour next year (hopefully). I went to only one concert last year, and as you can see, that's left me feenin like a crackhead...

P.S. How is it that Sheila looks, sings and plays like she's 25 years old? The woman is FINE!! She will still get it!! How old is her and Prince have to get before they slow down? I hope they do it til they can't walk anymore. Even then; I'll be front row at the wheelchair show...

His recent performances have been great but I miss the raw energy he would put into performing... like you'd see veins pop out and sweat swirling down, as if it was an endurance marathon. Nowadays, it's like he's barely breaking a sweat. Obviously, his decision to dance less has a lot to do with this, as without those moves he's free to concentrate on the music and it's just so much a breeze for him he looks a little bored.

Lol Right. We don't want our little man having a heart attack in his 40's. Even with the limited movement and intensity, he's still cool, laid back and demands your attention, even when he's dancing in the background; doing his little hop and skip jig, I can't help but watch him. He takes u on a ride, from 2005 to 1960 and back again.

I agree it's foolish to leave him out. Almost every crooning R&B artist out to date draws influence from Prince.

Thank you all for your kind words, now get out your old Prince videos and entertain ur family!

Right, Musicology was just a taste of what he can do. That's why he toured so much; as if to say, the album is only the tip of the iceberg baby.

Yes indeed. The tour was the highlight of my year. I have a good feeling about the future. The only thing I want is a hot dance tune that'll be bumpin' in the clubs. I know he's got it in him still. The world will get the revelation soon and very soon.

Sho' nuff.

Hey, did you notice that he was straining a little bit on some of the notes when he was singing Satisfied? He did this weird thing with his lip right when he says, "I'm gonna search this thing like buried treasure." Kinda weird, but I dug the intensity that led to it. Was a reminder, yet again, that he's getting older. Singers start to make faces like that as they age.

LOL Yeah he makes that same crooked bottom lip face when he's deep into a guitar solo to. It looks like he can't handle even his own funk smile
