to set the thread, Ill start.


ROCKHARD IN A FUNKY PLACE

Basically this is set in a cheesy 50's/60's nite club. the "COOL" prince {singing the main lyrics- or is it camille?} Is the entertainer in the club. it starts with him playing some piano on the stage while everyone else is drinking, talking { like UTCM opening scene}.
Then this nerd walks in {prolly prince- brian gumble kinda thing?} and the song starts.
"Camille" is singing the song on stage to the audience, while the "Nerd" is basically acting out the lyrics a couple of girls come on stage to bethe background singers { they prolly have beehives and cat glasses}
and as the song continues to the second verse when the female subject walks thru the door. the nerd sees her and tries to contain himself, but as the song states, he can't.
Camille and the girl singers come off stage and starts singing around him, badgering him ina playful manner and then prince/camille jumps on a table for the guitar solo.
the whole club chants "rock! rock!"
and i guess thats it.

i cant help but see that everytime i hear the songill add more later..

i know this song was made in 86 but i see a 1990 lookin prince with long hair and beard. it would fit the mod perfectly.



CRYSTAL BALL

the opening shot is the front of a average looking house. it slowly goes through the door, roaming about the house until it finds prince in an empty room, looking out the window with a cup in his hands. He has a solemn look on his face. the singing starts.

the camera moves up to the second floor and we find the female character. she is on the hard wood floor scratching in "WAR" , it zooms out to find that word all over the room. back to prince, he looks up and sets his cup down. he climbs the stairs to console his "lover"
she seems preoccupied with other things, and really worried. she looks as though she has been crying and not had any rest at all the tv is on showing various clips of war and such.
prince shuts it off and tries to hold her but she is distraught. Prince leaves the house.
she prays "dear jesus....."
prince continues the song while walking down the street. he looks up at the sky and notices something isn't right. he keeps walking. he looks around sees faces but they somehow don't look right. people are running. he doesnt know why.
he just continues to walk until he comes to a hill/mountain. the sky turns a wierd color and winds begin to blow. prince fiercely sings
" As soldiers draw swords of sorrow....."
below we see on the streets army tanks and people running. prince still sings.
Cuts to showing his lover still distraught and worried. More clips of war being shown.Prince realizes he left his lover in the time of need. and he vigourusly {i cant spell worth shit!}back tot hehouse. people are running the other way trying to get away from something. the streets is a mess. fires, broken windows, crying children. he keeps running about to the house. when he finally get there he-

Where do I begin? Almost evry song that I listen to I come up with an idea...makes me wanna get a degree in video production or something.

Mine invloves Prince giving Ice-Cube some kind of lap-dance to the song "I wanna Be Yout Lover"

ever since 1988 when I heard Le Grind, I imagined a video of a futuristic club with prince and his band raised up on a platform in a metallic cylindrical room with lights and people all dancing around.... then Lenny Kravitz put out his "Are you gonna go my way" video which was exactly the type of shots and cutting I was imagining.

ALL MY DREAMS

extremely similar to I WISH YOU HEAVEN with the rotating action and but more in a cutnpaste, mitch match form of INXS "I NEED YOU TONIGHT" video. also cut with UTCM clips in the background with the band playing in front of it.
