I remember seeing a televison show after Ronald Reagan's death, where he wrote a little boy a check and the boy never cashed it. If Prince wrote you a check, would you cash it? If it wasn't for a real large amount, I would definately keep it but if it were for a very large amount....hmmm....I would probably pace for awhile but I would probably cash it.

There were a lot of people in the '90s who had checks from Prince in their possession that they wished they could have cashed.

I remember an article in Harpers' Bazaar in '97 I believe that said his checks are stamped, no signature.
