Didn't he do a commercial in Japan for Emancipation? Either an ad or an interview where he referred to himself as a "car salesman"?

You're not halluncinating . . . Prince did do a commercial for Emancipation, between Thanksgiving and Christmas of 1996. From what I remember, the setting was all white with Prince in white (kinda like a dream sequence). The orange CD stood out a lot from the white background.
