COME the album

Who all has this cd? I used to have a copy but have not had the chance to buy it back yet. I haven't seen any copies of it lately. Is it out of print or just hard to find in some areas? I'd love to be able to get original copies of Race, Come and Loose back.

It's on Ebay..I've bought three of them because for some reason when my older kids come over it always seem to disappear!!

It's still in print, and not too difficult to find. You'll probably stumble on it when you least expect to - Definitely pick it up, it's a nifty (if a bit low-key) album.

Get it, get it, get that shit started.

I mean, you can always change your underwear.

The title song changed my freakin' life! Is it possible to have a spiritual experience through a song about giving head? hmm

Of course it is.

I guess I can see why people don't care for this album, but it's one of my favorites. I don't think it's as good as his landmark albums, but I do know that it's one of his records that I listen to the most. I would probably say The Gold Experience is his best 90s album, but I would rather listen to Come, if that makes any sense.

AOL music fans must not know their prince albums.

i'm not sure if it's an album that casual fans expecting purple rain would "get". i think over the next decade, his more obscure work is going to get a lot more attention, and this album will be for him what 'low' has been for david bowie...a once-obscure and overlooked weird little album that turns out to be a late-blooming critic's darling.

I'd say it's a hell of a lot better than that. This album is deffinately one of the ones I listen to the most. No matter how many times I change my CD collection for my car..... this one stays.

I'd say "Dark" gets its share of love around here. Though I can't explain the folks who claim "So Dark" is better. It's just a generic R&B remix if you ask me. The original album version with that killer mood-setting church organ is the only "Dark" for the Mistress. whip

I just got it for FREE this summer (someone gave it to me--SCORE). I wasn't expected too much from it, and I was pleasantly surprised. I think it is one of those albums that will probably grow on me the more I listen to it. Maybe I'll listen again right now... music
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.
