as you all may (or may not) be aware, today marks the 25th anniversary of the release of the dirty mind album. to mark this occasion, i have created a webpage in honor of one of the most significant albums in prince's entire catalogue of music. it is a bit lengthy--i've spent at least a month outlining, writing, correcting and creating the webpage--but you should still give it a look. hell, you ain't got shit else to do--if you're in the u.s., i KNOW you ain't got shit to do since it's columbus day weekend.

That was quite an informative read. Dirty Mind is still one of those records I spin on a regular basis. Glad to see it got some love this time around, along with some clearification, as well.

That was a very good tribute to the "Dirty Mind" album. That album has a lot to do with who I am also.

This is a wonderful project Dansa! Congrats on a kick ass page.

I love reading about how much impact Prince had on other people as he certainly had a major impact on me.

I was almost the mirror image of Dansa. "What are you doing listening to that...n...music?" "You're not playing that noise in my house."

When I heard Prince I knew that I was in the right place. (Though I must admit it was more the 1999 and PR "shit" ) That moved me first. I'd never heard of Prince prior to that.

Again...congrats on a job well done. You can tell it was a labor of love.
