Isn't is sad that his 12 inchers aren't available on CD?

Of course I do own a "bootleg" compiliation of all his 12 inch singles but it is truly sad that these aren't readily available; his 12 inchers, back when he did that, were often much, much better than the singles.

Just listening to "Mountains" now.

Definitely some of his very best music is when he extended his grooves.

It is sad that this is the result of the WAR with Warner Bros.
Neither side won & the fans are the losers.

A few of them made their way to CD, such as Kiss and Erotic City.

There was a bootleg that came out in 1995 that had all of his 12" singles on 4 gold CDs, in a big gold tin box. I paid like $150 for it. But I let someone borrow it a few years later and never heard from them again.

Weren´t there some plans to re-release some of them on CD in Japan in the mid 90´s ?
Guess they changed their minds about it.

That does suck. I purchased my 12inchs off the Internet and they will never leave my house.

I have that set. Beautifully packaged with a 12" tin embossed with the Symbol on it. Plus a 12" booklet.

Thanks for letting me borrow it.

wink Sorry. I had to.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
