So what if Prince the man is different. He's too Protective of His Image. Why doesn't he just tell it like it is? He has nothing to fear butfear itself. His fans love him and in the process of Revelation he may even pick up some new fans. I really think he should write the book. I think he should tell us everything about his life in the record industry. I don't care how many bad things there are or aren't. He doesn't have to be anybody's fantasy. He can just be himself and we'd love him. I know I'm right.We may be shocked though but we'd love it and him.

Born un2 parents in the year that never was. Eye was short. It became apparent that 2 b a genius eye must creATE food. Eye began 2 eat leaves. Then eye went 2 the garden and beCAME a rainbow. So I rose. Up eye rose in2 the sky like a MISunderSTOOD imp. Eye then creATED music. But it wasnt always like that.

During the 80's eye was really quite good. But that was beFORE eye found Jehova. 2 b 1 with u is all eye c. Eye saw a b in my bonnet that day. Sumthing happened and eye went MAD.

Along CAME the 90's and eye saw fit 2 change my name. Prince was dead and eye beCAME OTAN. The symbolic shambles that was my career creATED sumthing strange. Eye called it hip-hop. My fams called it CRAP. So cussing eye did stop and poo eye did creATE. Eye did inDEED rave without a CONtract. Sales plumETed.

Then the rainbow beckoned me in the 4rm of Larry. Eye beCAME a child of the rainbow and eye did rise. Eye IMPlore all my fams 2 follow in the word of the scriptures. The digital scriptures of OTAN. Dont get it twisTED tho. I am man. WoMAN is part man by way of spelling. If u take the MAN from woMAN u r left with wo. Wo betide the MAN who beCOMES subserviANT 2 him. And that is y eye am OTAN. is it me or has the prince psycho level went off the meter..and Vagina Prince dropped out of high school in his senior year 2 pursue his Music career but he is very intelligent and very very smart...some people are just beyond classes and school..prince's education was music anyone that can play beyond 27 instruments and can read notes for those 27 instruments is considered genius i respect p for his musicianship being that i am a musician who is also multi instrumental. but as for Prince writing a book? nah...there was one called Neo Manifesto but that contained poetry.but a life story? what would be the point

For starters it would take twice as long to read 'cos it would be written all 'high' and 'eye' and all that stuff.
Secondly it would probably be written depending on which frame of mind he is in - currently the JW thing, which is fine if you are into it - more power to you and all that but... no. Not a good idea! Sign o' the times on DVD though? Very good idea!

They d be so many quotes from the bible, i dont think he d even write about half his life apart from the time he found the jehovahs witnesses forwards.

I'd of liked Prince to of writen a book around '87/'88. But I don't think I'd like to hear what he has to say now, unless he just wrote a more factual Biography. That would be great.

I'm of two minds with this question. I think it would be great for him to write a biography. On the other hand, I'm not sure I would believe half of what he wrote. I doubt very much we would get the truth from him. I also agree with a comment above that it would probably be filled with religious hyperbole and other such nonsense.

Maybe when he's an old man, but I don't think I would want to read it today.

As I've stated on this site many times before, I love Prince and his music, but I don't have to agree or even like the way he lives his life (and vice-versa). I have been a fan for 20 years. I've seen all the changes he's gone through and all his strange/different ways, but that still doesn't mean that I live and breathe everything about the man. I strongly feel that anyone is entitled to their own beliefs, but I do not agree that they can shove them down everyone's throat. If Prince gets converts to JWism, then good for him, but I won't be one of them. His word is not the be all and end all for me. I believe that he would never tell the whole truth about this life, loves and religous beliefs, so why would I want to read something that I may not 100% believe in?? I also believe that 5-10 years from now he will no longer be a JW, he'll have found some new religion to believe in. As I said, maybe when he's an old man and willing to open all the doors to his real life, maybe then I would read his biography, but certainly not right now. He is far from being ready to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

I would like to think he would tell the truth too Vagina, but I can't convince myself of that. I do believe that one day we will get the whole truth, but I don't think he's ready to tell us the whole truth right now. Remember how he talked about his dead child. He said "everythings good". It was not good, the baby was dead. How do you think Mayte felt sitting there listening to this? It was her child too and she had to act as though nothing was amiss. I think he is reverting back to his old self when he used to shy away from the media. I hope he is because I hated watching him lie to our faces about subjects like his child, his marriage, his divorce and his name change shenanagans. Even though his private life should be private, he is an international musician, so he has to expect that we would have questions about things like this. Why he would choose to lie about his child I still can't fathome.

There have been "Prince approved" books out. There was Neo Manisfesto and the Sacrifice of Victor book.

Prince can't write a no-holds barred book because I doubt if he has been keeping notes and he'd probably leave all the good stuff out anyway.

You won't see a Motley Crue-type tell-all book from Prince.
