Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I also hated the whole Rainbow Children album at first, but it grew on me. I think u have 2 listen to the album as a whole to fully apreciate it... Same goes for Lovesexy i think.

Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

Shit, I still cannot listen to it sometimes. But when I hear it on the headphones, it's freaky. There seems to be 'sounds' everywhere. I hate it and love it.

Okay, this really doesn't qualify but I'm going to say it anyway 'cause it's generally in the spirit of the question.
I never hated "Forever In My Life'' from Sign O' The Times, but it did seem kinda weak to me at first. It seemed to be missing too many things. Then I began to sing it and sing it and sing it and just appreciated it for its rawness -- and yes, the feeling behind the words.
That is all. smile

all of Lovesexy was this way for me.

I bought it, didn't like it too much, and stored it away.

Then I downloaded the individual tracks and put them in my mp3 player

Now, I love it!
If you will, so will I

I'm afraid to admit it, but I was never a fan of Sexy MF. But now I can atleast TOLERATE it.

There was also a time when the ONLY song I could listen to on graffiti bridge was joy in repitition.....but now I can listen to it, and appreciate the sheer glitzy cheese of it all.....plus my 2 year old loves to dance to it! wink

There are no songs I hated that have become faves...but here are some that I was really underwhelmed by at first and now love:

When Doves Cry (5/5)
Adore (5/5)
Let's Go Crazy (4.5/5)
Life Can Be So Nice (4/5)
Joy In Repetition(5/5)
Wasted Kisses (4.5/5)
The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

"You still wanna take me to prison...just because I won't trade humanity for patriotism."
