Prince and Morrissey there were rumours a couple of years ago they were to work together...is this true...would have been interesting how that would have turned out... cant see Prince being a fan of The Smiths though ! | |

hahahahahahahahaha.....this has got to be one of the funniest things I've ever heard!!Yeah I can just imagine the meeting!!
Prince walks in with his two doves in his hands proclaiming positivity and peace. Morrissey walks in with a bush sticking out of his pants and tells him how depressed he's feeling!! Half an hour later.....Morrissey leaves the meeting with the arse ripped out of his trousers, a spring in his step and a funky new tune forming in his head..... Meanwhile.....Prince never comes out..... One of Prince's bodyguards goes in to find a small figure in the faetal position in the corner repeating..'empty room, empty room, how'm I gonna fill U.....' and 'there is lonely'..... Yes, in my opinion.....it may have already happened!!  | |

Prince and Morrissey did discuss a collaboration in the early 90s, but nothing ever came of it. The joke at the time, amongst Prince fans, was that Prince was gonna give him "Sexual Suicide" for his next album.

He sometimes wears these bushes out of his pants onstage. Strange. I read somewhere that Morrissey said Prince wouldn't have made it out of Croydon if he grew up in England, so the idea that they would work together seems very remote. | |
