Obviously a fan list. Ignoring the most popular songs (other than When Doves Cry & maybe Controversy) and getting into that second tier of classics not so well known.
The list of greatest (great simply meaning big) songs would probably read: 1999 Little Red Corvette Purple Rain When Doves Cry Lets Go Crazy Kiss U Got The Look Cream Diamonds & Pearls Most Beautiful Girl Check this song out at:

Why does eveyone always seem to choose "safe" songs, like ones that have appeared on the charts or ones that are easiest to listen to. The charts is not a measure of quality but of what is easiest for people to digest. These songs are nice to listen to me but when quality comes into play, songs like Power Fantastic blow most of these away. | |
