Has P ever covered Dylan? I know it's not an exciting topic - but things r so boring here anyway at the moment.
I was at a cafe where they were playing a Dylan compilation and it set me thinking - I can't recall an example of P playing Dylan, but it would be interesting. I mean, he does Hendrix, Joni Mitchell, the Stones. What would he do with Dylan? Neil Young is another interesting one I'd like to hear him do. I once saw the Chilli Peppers (xcuse the comparison) in Sydney and Flea did a solo version of "Needle and the Damage done" which was pretty amazing. Just his off-key falsetto plus bass! From a 1985 interview:
"I don't know too much about Dylan," says Prince, "but I respect him a lot. 'All Along the Watchtower' is my favorite of his. I heard it first from Jimi Hendrix." Being a JW, I wouldn't be surprised if Prince didn't start covering this "Watchtower" song soon, if he hasn't already.

Jeez. He did Cinnamon Girl on Musicology. Please pay attention. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
