The James Brown Band plays Prince songs That's what we call paying some serious respect! Just recently, Soulpower organized and presented the official aftershow jams of the James Brown concerts in Paris and Hamburg. At those late night gigs the Soul Generals (the James Brown Band) played some very funky versions of Prince's "Kiss" and "Sexy MF". Especially the latter was a true funk bomb. All vocals on those two tracks were handled by JB-drummer Robert "Mousey"Thompson. Many pics of these sessions in the "Shows" and "Gallery" sections of our website www.soulpower.info

Seems like they're acknowledging their own influence! Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016
Props will be withheld until the showing and proving has commenced. -- Aaron McGruder
