Pure genius in my opinion... and so true

Prince amazes me with his lyrical messages. The combination of his intellect and talent makes his music multi dimensional and always jammin.

And these are the lyrics to the song I'm deadsure Prince
listened to and got some sort of inspiration from for his
"Dear Mister Man" track.

He's said it before that "Ben Harper makes [him] wanna
play blues for a living". So I'm sure he knows this track
and I'm also sure he loves it.

Ain't nothing wrong with being inspired by someone else,
just wanted to share some extra info.

People have similar thoughts all of the time. Just like when a thought occurs to us for the first time we might think we are the only one who ever thought it. Even if Prince did hear this song before his version is far superior imo.
