That's how you can always tell who is the vegetarian - they look SO pale, it's almost unhealthy (and probably is, despite what vegetarian propoganda tells you)

Possibly the stupidest comment ever posted on Prince.org. Pat yourself on the back!

Contrary to prevailing idiocy among small-minded judgemental morons, vegetarians aren't weak, feeble, pale hippies who faint constantly. Certainly it is possible to eat an unhealthy vegetarian diet, but it should be pretty obvious that if you eat well you live well.

But hey, I've probably just been brainwashed by all that vegetarian propaganda out there. There's so damn much of it! (Shakes fist at all those vegetarian propagandists)

gotta love the vegetarians on this thread - can't take any criticism whatsoever. and can't accept facts, either.

sad people.

thankfully they don't represent the majority of vegetarians.

Well humans are omnivores. It's kind of funny how people say there is cruelty in eating animals. Maybe we should petition maggots to keep off our rotting corpses when we die.

- Well, in my opinion...the problem is not eating meat itself...I don´t see nothing wrong with it, specially because other animals eat meat too.

I only think the animals should be treated better before they died...some ambitious MFs treat them pretty bad in order to earn more and more money. I am not vegetarian yet, but if I become one someday, this will be the reason. Disagreement with unnecessary greedy brutality.

nod I couldn't agree with you more. For that reason, I have limited the amount of meat that I've eaten over the years. Also, I have to find out how the animal is raised.

Well, I kind of lapsed this week (for some reason, I really wanted a buffalo steak), but normally I'm vegetarian and quite a good healthy tan color.

hmph! My brother has been a vegetarian for almost 30 years and he is far from being paler. However, he has very good healthty looking skin. But, I will tell you one thing that alot times most vegetarians do tend tend deviate from their normal diet and sneak (treat themselves) with certain types of junk foods at times.

whofarted Rather, you know it or not, there are people who claim themselves as Black who come from racially mixed backgrounds like in my case (Irish/Scottish/Native American/African). So, I personally I take offense to your stereotypical statement b/c not all Black people look the same. Eventhough I am racially mixed, I claim myself as Black and yes I get pale.

Ah, well. Get offended if you like. People in France who consider themselves "black" could never become pale through a vegetarian diet, because they have very dark skin due to their African origins. People who are somewhat paler because they are mixed consider themselves, well, mixed... because that's what they are. "Metisse," in other words.

The fact that Americans call themselves "Black" when they are more accurately described as "mixed" seems to me more a political stance, and I don't play that game.

JW and vegetarian.....michael follower lol

Interesting tidbit that I dug up on the net:

Michael was a strict vegetarian for much of his adult life until health concerns prompted his physician to recommend adding limited quantities of fish and chicken to his diet, especially while on tour.

Recently, MJ seems to have developed a taste for sushi. When he was in Germany in November 1995 to appear on "Wetten Dass?", it was reported that he ordered a lot of sushi from the hotel; in the "Scream" video, one of the vending machines is labeled "SUSHI".

Also....

Michael Jackson orders Kentucky Fried Chicken for breakfast, lunch and dinner when flying on private jets.

Jackson demands the Colonel's KFC original chicken breasts to go with mashed potato, corn and biscuits with spray butter, according to travel documents seized by police.

According to The Evening Standard the records are from a chartered flight on September 1 last year carrying Jackson, a cousin, lawyer, nanny and three children.

The singer's food and drink preferences are listed for himself, nanny and children. He has additional food available at breakfast such as fruit, scrambled eggs, lox (smoked salmon) and bagels, but lunch and dinner remains solely the Colonel's domain.

However. the document adds: "If travelling for a number of consecutive days, will try other forms of chicken but still would like the KFC." However, the newspaper says the star's young children, Prince and Paris, have a much stricter diet. They are forbidden peanut butter, sugar, chocolate and chicken skin.

Toddler Prince Michael II is reportedly always fed by his nanny, Grace, and he also gets KFC - cut up into pieces - in addition to crackers, grapes and juice or milk.

Jackson rarely eats pudding. The document adds: "Will ask for a sundae one out of 10 times you fly with him." He also bans "broccoli and strong-scented food".

He is described as a "very timid flyer but will get out of his seat during take-off and landing".

Jackson is facing seven charges of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 and two counts of giving the child an "intoxicating agent", reportedly wine. He has called the allegations, by a teenage cancer survivor, a "big lie".

I've been a vegetarian for nine years or so. I only did it to lose weight after I had my son and then I became addicted. I felt heftier when I ate meat and chicken and fish and all that, now I feel so light and so much better.

I have always been skinny, but it was that round skinny and I always felt chunky even though people said, "You look fine..." But being a little bit under 5 feet and over 100 lbs made me feel chunky.

Anyway, a lot of people say, "I wish I could give up meat and chicken, but I just can't..."

Once you give it up and you realize how much better you feel, you won't want to go back to eating meat and chicken and fish.

PRINCE has a nice little shape; I HOPE he isn't eating meat again.

Badu says she's a vegan, but she looks like a meat eater, ha, she's kind of thick in the hip area.

I have friends that are vegan and vegetarians but they are still kind of hefty, makes me think they are sneaking some meat in when no one is around.

I have been a vegetarian for about nine years as well. I love it! I can be around hamburgers and hot dogs and not even want a bite!

I, too, (like my twin Dreaming Peasant) started because I wanted to drop some pounds. I was never heavy, but being short and over 100 lbs really made me look stockier than I wanted to be. It was only after I gave up the meat, fish, and chicken (and other things), that I got the shape I wanted!

Andre 3000 sure isn't pale. I'm white + a vegetarian, and I'm not any paler. I've been one for 5 years and is the best thing I've ever done for myself ... got rid of my migraines, due to all the animal hormones. Anyway, we're not all pale. "power of words?" fairly subjective. we only give them as much power as they have. words are words are words.

Regardless of where the supposed philosopical point belongs, it's still a must to take to heart the crux of the matter which is to think before you speak and respect the power of words. More or less, this is food for thought.
