Just wondering..... after looking at the photo gallery - I noticed Prince rarely wears the same thing twice. Do you think he owns and wears a "favorite" pair tattered jeans or worn clothes? If so - what item of clothing would it be?

I once read somewhere that Prince only wears each pair of socks ONCE, and then tosses them.

He used 2 wear the same purple treach coat. That shiny purple/pink 1 from 1999 video, wore it again in Little red Corvette, and worn on tours 1982-1984. Violet Purple 1 from Purple Rain as well then.

he seems to dig his oversized turtlenecks.

Actually, he's known for wearing the same things repeatedly during a particular album "era." Most of his eras last about a year, and then he's on to wearing a new style of threads repeatedly.

Remember the white shirt with the red polka dots that he wore A LOT last year? He wore it for the Rolling Stone photo shoot, at the concert in Tampa, Florida, and the concert in Jacksonville, Florida, the VERY NEXT DAY. It's also the shirt he had on in the NPGMC clip of "Question of U".

I liked the shirt at first, but then I started thinking to myself, "Damn, Prince, you ain't poor. Quit wearing that damn shirt like it's the only one you own."

I'm hoping he at least has multiples of that shirt and he wasn't actually wearing the SAME shirt every day. Hope it was at least laundered between wears.
