I think its Nona Gaye who is in it not Whitney.

If i recall the video was all women who had certain dreams and ambitions,and Prince made their dreams come true.

I think however you are referring to the The Beautiful Experience TV-special version of the video, didn't the one distributed for the commercial channels lack the Nona Gaye part since it was only in the story frame of the special itself?

Women who answered were chosen and their dreams/fantasies/hopes/happiest moments were acted out, and then they watched the footage.
