"graffiti bridge" is my fav Prince album. Which works as I love anything early 90's sounding. Sounds like "ninja turtles" soundtrack in places. Time has not been kind to those tinny, super wuick drum machines (think "love machine") | |

There are some fabulous tracks on Graffiti Bridge. Highly underrated album, imho. "Joy in Repetition" and "We Can Funk" ESPECIALLY. However, a few songs kill the project overall; "Graffiti Bridge" and "Melody Cool," for example.  I mean, like, where is the sun? | |

I love Arms of Orion. I think it's funny how some people seem to be too cool to like any of the sweet ballads like Arms of Orion, Betcha By Golly Wow, Most Beautiful Girl In The World, etc. (The only appreciated one is Adore, and as for Princes ballads, that's probably the one I'm least inmpressed with) I love Sheenas voice, and his voice matches hers so well. I think the song is pretty ok, but every time I listen 2 it, it sounds like a note is missing from the melody. Maybe because it sounds similar 2 another song that I can't put my finger on. | |
