TGE when Pussy Control came on. I was feeling wary of Prince after Come and Choas n Disorder. With the opening of Pussy Control I knew we were back in Kansas.

I've never loved a Prince album upon first hearing, apart from perhaps "The Rainbow Children". That one I merely liked, not loved though. All the classics I heard of course grew on me fast, and there's also a couple of "classics" from the late 90s that didn't grow on me on the other hand.

I remember when you listened to NEWS for the first time, Anji. I was impressed enough with your reaction to run right out and buy it for myself.

For me... it would have to be the Undertaker. I don't know if it counts because it was not officially released, but I remember being absolutely stunned when hearing it. It was love at first sight.
