outkast's 'she lives in my lap' is so stolen!

I know that a lot of Outkast's music sounds Princey, but this is the limit!!!
On Speakerbox cd 2 (the love below) there's track called "she lives in my lap" and its sounds so much like "SHE'S ALWAYS IN MY HAIR".
In Holland we have a law against steeling artwork.....

How come they sell millions with sounds Prince made decades ago???
Thank God this ain't Monopoly
U'd make us all go back 2 start

glad 2 know i'm not alone on this, although i thought it had a definate sott feel, more than always in my hair. he even had the nerve 2 use a camille vocal style. dre has said many times he loves prince, and this shows it. by far, my favorite song on the love below

I Love Rhonda Joy,

I will say the same thing I say everytime someone accuses people of stealing from Prince and that is thatpeople are saying the exact same shit about Prince on Sly, Jimi, James, and Stevie messageboards.

Welcome to 2003.

It's clearly modelled on IIWYGF, but you know, it's a great track.

There's Prince and George all over that album, but it's a decent record, so no probs.

Andre just needs to ditch the deadweight on Speakerboxx, and then we can see if he's got anything beyond some very decent tribute tracks to his favourite artists.
Don't worry, I can't get pregnant - my ovaries are diseased......

I have every Outkast album and that second disc of Andre 3000-The Love Below is the only thing "Princey" about their music as a group. They sell millions because they are extremely talented. As far as hip hop goes, EVERY single one of their albums is critically considered either classic, or borderline classic. You should check out more of their stuff, such as Southernplayalisticaddilacmusic, or ATLiens,Stankonia,Aquemini.....

I like this song it definately has a mix of She's Always In My Hair, The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker, with a little If I Was Your Girlfriend, and Rosario Dawson is even singing background vocals, remember she was on the 1999 New Master single.
