but its really hard to narrow it down to 3, there are others in your list that are very tempting.
I chose "little red corvette" , because it shows some very cool and crafty early Prince type guitar style, and just a classic early Prince song.
"purple rain" ...is another obvious classic, its so cliche but the lead guitar in this song was one of the first songs that really put prince's guitar playing in the spotlight, therefore i found it hard not to include this song.
endorphin machine. such a terrific riff and the lead break rocks.
