sweet baby anyone else really enjoy this song from the love symbol album?
i find the album itself infuriatingly inconsistent but this song is a real gem would fit in better on emancipation disc 2 alongside the holy river methinks | |

Prince shot his white hot sticky pride all over this album, and it gets to be very exhausting from song to song, though the excellent musicianship is hard to deny. it's the attitude that stinks. it ruined "Love 2 the 9s" which woulda been my fav on the album except for the direction it goes. "and God created woman" is indeed the real gem on this album -- beauty-full. and "damn u" is pretty cool too... i love his vocal aerobics in that song. but "Sweet Baby" is soooo refreshing on this very egotistical album!! very cool song which sounds misplaced, but is a very welcome relief [Edited 7/12/05 22:38pm] | |
