Kristin Scott Thomas on the drums in UTCM Well was she? Can u mime a drum solo?
I know it was kind of an easy solo. I thought it was good and kind of cute. I love UTCM. It's his best film i think. Funny in parts too. Underappreciated. I think the soundtrack was too (even by Prince) 1986 was a good year to be a fan. Anotherloverholenyohead (Extended Version)

Is it me or was that break sampled by Biz Markie for one of his songs? I can't remember which one, but I think Big Daddy Kane was on it.

Yeah Biz sampled it. And he did a pretty good job of it too.

Another part that was funny was when Mary went outside in front of all those guests in a towel, then took it off. Actually, there's a couple scenes in UTCM that were funny, especially the "wrecka stow" one. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Man, I don't really give a fig whether or not she played or mimed that drum solo. All I know is at that time, I was just becoming a fan of the music, and was a sucker for any kind of funky Prince beat. So when that came on the movie, and when I got to buy and watch the movie again ten years later (over and over), I would click on like a mug when that part came on. It just drove me wild!

This is my favorite part of the movie. I love that stuffy accent saying....
