Get Wild! (discuss the regular track and also some questions on the outtake with Prince on leadvox) I'd like to give a big to this cool song from the Exodus album. One of his funkiest 90s cuts and a song that would not have looked out of place, had it been on one of Prince's regular albums! Show sum love here people The remixes of this song are fine too. Especially the Money Maker Jazz mix with it's lush fuzztone, and it's very cool keyboardsolos!! hey. does anybody know if there is a good quality version of "Get Wild" with Prince on vox doin the rounds in the underground cirquit? note, i'm not soliciting for this track or asking where i can get it. simply asking if such a thing exists. i ask because i have a copy of this song with P on vocals but the soundquality is among the poorest i have ever heard a Prince bootleg be. sounds like it's been recorded from behind a closed door or on a recorder inside of someone's underwear and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

yup, I didn't know that either until recently. but mind you, it's barely audible since the soundquality is so very very bad. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

The song is great, btw. Almost wish it would have made it to TGE instead of "Pussy Control".

funny that you should say that because i've often thought about it exactly that way. i thin pussy control is a nice song but i find it grates on my nerves over time with the screeching chorus. get wild sounds more grounded and earthy and well more greased up like yesterday's pizza under the couch ~polivynilacetatewillkeepyourmonkeyhigh~ and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

The MoneyMaker remix is VERY cool...Mayté ´s speaking on it makes it sound a bit dated so I doubt it will ever surface somewhere again, but it´s a great remix. I also love the original version and the promovideo.
Reminds me of 1995 and the Ultimate Live(Gold) Experience Tour...great tour, great band. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Do you have the pret-a-porter version as well? It's punchier than the original with the same sax solo as on "Rock'roll Is Alive!" Damn shame, I have no idea where I have that cassette currently.

I used to love the Exodous album. It`s very funky and very exiting. I feel the same about the symbol album. These days I think both albums are overproduced. But I was very impressed when they came out. I`ve never been a bigger fan than back then. I believe that sex is a beautiful thing between two people. Between five, it's fantastic.

Great song, but I've always been more partial 2 the "In The House Remix". Fon-kay, like just about everything else he did at that time. Listen to me on The House of Pop Culture podcast on itunes http://itunes.apple.com/u...d438631917
