I'm going to take a wild guess that the reason why Kat and Robin get more votes is becuase ...erm...they look like drag queens. If I aske which one of Prince's male band members looked like drag queens, Tommy Barbarella would show up on every single list---dare I say it, becuase he's white??? | |

We have a history of disparging comments being made about blackwoman on this board. If I was a racist I would just come on out and be honest about it. Kat Dyson (I've met her in person, and she's extremely butch)
Cat Glover (C'mon, we ALL thought that was Prince in drag on the cover of the SOTT single!) Robin Power (She's just....ewwwww!) Now, I know I named three "sistas" but it really has nothing to do with their race. Notice Nona Gaye isn't really being mentioned (because she fine!!!). It has to do with the fact that all three of these women are on the butch side. Oh, and Tommy Barbarella DEFINITELY looked like a drag queen, or at the very least a transvetite.

Tommy's a sista at heart. But I agree with you. I've grown up with an enormouse amount of racisim aimed towards me from both blacks and whites. But the truth of the matter is I had to dig myself out of the victim-mindset to get where I am today. Yeah, racisim is out there and it disquises itself alot of times. So I can understand other minority's and their concerns. But bottom line: This is not a racist thread. It was never intended that way. | |
