The Original Old Friends 4 Sale Appreciation Thread How good is this song? The lyrics, the resignation in his voice, the lack of vocal layering and the brutal honesty. Great song, I wish Prince would release songs like this but I guess its too personal to let go without editing. Great track!

The 90's version was a missed opportunity to update this sorry tune with a shit-hot Tony M. rap. The original version ranks alongside everything else Prince has released (Sans Ronnie Talk To Russia and anything with Tony M.) as some of the worst music ever recorded. ~ I'D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR ~
