Prince Thang Magazine I've heard of Controversy, Crystal Ball, and UPtown Magazines, but watching an old clip from teh Joan Rivers show, someone says they're the editor of PRince Thang Magazine.  I vaguely remember that I own some issues of that magazine

She had on Kirstie Allie, Diamond and Pearl, and that woman who played Morris Day's love interest in Graffiti Bridge. It's playing right now in the video forum on housequake.com. There was also this 65 y o fan, I was like wow. Don't hurt me, I'm a newb. I'm supposed to be stupid. | |

I have an issue of this fanzine.It was based in Philadelphia,if I'm not mistaken.The issue I have is from the summer of 1991.There's an article and lots of news about the upcoming 'Diamonds and Pearls' album...there's an article on Ingrid Chavez...news about a possible tour....an interesting analysis of the song "Old Friends 4 Sale".There are some pics,but they're all in black and white.It's a cool fanzine,but I never bought another issue. | |

I have all 4 or 5 issues of this.
Got them all at once in a used record store in Detroit. Kinda of neat but made to look like a cheap newsprint fanzine that had some new and old info in it. Cannot compare to Controversy or Uptown. "
