Both seem to be very expressional songs. Do you think Still Would Stand All Time compares to Purple Rain? I know PR is a classic song but I really like SWSAT. Just my opinion. (don't kill me you guys)

for the obvious reasons,

one is a classical tune that grabs u by the first 2 chords,,

the other is forgettable song..

the vs threads are getting ridiculous if we are scraping the bottom of the barrel for matchups like these. what's next, Let's Work vs Daddy Pop?

I see the similarities , they're both spiritual songs and give room to jam on it

And they're both ballads

"Still Would" has a very boring melody and is too repetitious, although the song as a whole has a beautiful sound. "Purple Rain" on the other hand is gorgeous through and through.

To me those are 2 different kind of songs and comparing the 2 wouldn't be right. I love them both,
