If you buy the music in whatever msoftoid format he chooses to sell it in, you can always burn it to a music cd, and then reimport as mp3. Or, you can monitor usenet (alt.music.binaries.prince, I think)--all those songs show up regularly.

I purchased and downloaded the songs then burned them to a cd then imported the songs to my itunes.
