Hey, does an Indian lover count? My last boyfriend (for 4 year) was Indian, also Punjabi from Chandigarh. But he's Hindu. He actually helped me explore my own interest in Hinduism. He used to call me his desi gora (sp?). Anyway, I tried to get him to like Prince, but I just couldn't do it. He thought Prince was too weird. But when I pointed out how spiritual Prince is, he kind of came around. I teased him about Prince and A.R. Rahman working together for a Bollywood film. Would be kind of interesting, huh?
We're friends now, but I have to admit I miss my desi dose. I find myself watching Namaste America on Saturday mornings (at least here in Los Angeles) and renting Bollywood films. I have Veer-Zaara in my DVD player now, with Swades, Morning Raga and Page 3 in the wings. But I haven't seen Dus yet. Maybe it's playing in Artesia... | |

Oh Yaar,
you all love Ash so much and she is undeniably attractive but when all themake up is scraped off (it's almost Prince-thick isnt it) her face looks somewhat disproportioned.
