Patti Labelle listened to this album by Martika and loved a song on it called "Temptation" and recorded it herself. I believe it's on Patti's CD called Burnin' (which you should add to your collection as well). Both versions are uptempo and funky and I think the Purple One was involved with the song.

"Love, Thy Will Be Done" is such a gorgeous song! You should get the CD just for that song alone, but you'll probably enjoy the other songs as well.

There's a song on there called "Don't Say U Love Me". It's another uptempo tune that definitely has the Prince sound to it. And quite possibly my favorite tune on there after "Love, Thy Will Be Done", is the trip-happy, psychedelic-flavored "A Magical Place"

I used to have the cassingle of 'Martika's Kitchen' the song, and I absolutely loved it! Don't know how it would stand up now, however...
