A MILLION DAYS..BEST TRACK ON MUSICOLOGY?

i think this track is one of the best rock/pop songs that prince has released in the last few years and the one song that stands out on the musicology album.....pity it will never be released as a single though.....what y'all think?

i think million days is not the best track on musicology but it is one of the best tracks.there are some classic on musicology like call my name, million days, musicology....
i think that in some years this record will b a classic like sign o the times and the gold experience, because it shows what prince can do best--> writing and playing cool pop songs, the hottest funk, and beautiful slow jams.
For me musicology is one of the best pop records prince ever did. its up there with sign o the times, purple rain, lovesymbol, emancipation.

"A Million Days" is the only song on Musicology which really grabbed me, and the only one I still listen to.

nah, it's a bit of a boring, blatant stab at a commercial song. sigh

lots of better tracks on musicology. nod

is better than cinnamon girl though, which has the same sort of "top 40" sound to it. disbelief

i think a million days is a great track, the guitar playing is really good, although i have to say that the album as a whole doesn't really float my boat. I wish he would try to play songs like "strange relationship", "play in the sunshine", and "if i was your girlfriend" in a contemporary way because i know he has it in him.

It's a nice track, but the best track on Musicology is "If Eye Was The Man In U're Life".

Generally I think Musicology is a great album. The album was clearly aimed at the general public. Nothing wrong with that, not everything has to be challenging or experimental all the time. It's nice that you can put it on in the car and people seem enjoy it without having that "Prince? He's weird" look!

If Eye was the Man in U're Life CANNOT go without The Marrying Kind.
Those two songs have to stay together just like Into the Light and I Will on
Chaos and Disorder. If I was... doesn't even sound right without you starting at the beginning of The Marrying Kind. Those are the two stand out tracks along with A Million Days.

I agree with this statement.Musicology doesn't seem to get too much respect on the Org,but I think it holds up very nicely a year after its release.
My favorites are Reflection,Call My Name,On The Couch and A Million Days.
ICP&C is finally growing me,even!

It's a consistent,reliable listen.

Well, I like it. Although that scream at the ends seems out of tune or just too loud. It should have been a single instead of Cinnamon Girl. But "The Marrying Kind/ If Eye Was The Man..." is my favorite part of the album.

Well damn when you have performed every type of music genre since 1978 like Prince has then everything is going to sound rehashed to some people.
A Million Days is the bomb!

A Million Days..... is HORRIBLE! I hate it.

To me, The Marrying Kind is the best on the album and Musicology a distant second. But as we all know the album is pretty mediocre anyway.
Come here, babe.. yeah...

I'll keep my loyalties to "Dolphin" and deny that "A Million Days" even exists. My fav on the album, from day one, has been "If Eye Was The Man In Ur Life" <--- nice composition right there.
