Not a big deal. The movie itself is bad. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

Well, I just ranked GQ as one of the worst magazines ever and that's about as valid as GQ's critique on movies. Opinions are like assholes and the editors at GQ must have a lot of them. Maybe Prince should shove his "Purple Rain" Oscar up theirs..... "New Power slide...." |

Purple Rain isn't the strangest inclusion on the list. The Poseidon Adventure is their number 4, and I love the hell out of that movie! Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you! | |

Tim Curry is an excellent bag guy/stroke dark lord in this.

Funny if it is so bad WHY does every Musican that does a movie make their own "Purple Rain".

I think it should be clarified that GQ's list is the titled the best worst films ever made--meaning they have lots of appeal. Or at least that was the idea in the couple of reviews I read. | |
