I have a feeling that the next album will still be mainstream but will be alot more challenging 2 the listener than Musicology

I hope it will be a bit more rock (plenty of guitar solos) and funk.Just as long as it aint a rehash of old hits or instrumental then I know I will be happy.

Hi Anji!

Personally, I'd like a bit of both but whether he's mainstream or not, it doesn't affect my enjoyment of his music. However - it is great to see him at the top of his game again, career-wise, and getting the respect he's due. It makes me really proud to be a fan of his and I'd like this recognition to continue.

However, I do long for a distinct 'Prince' album - one which has a unique sound like '1999' or 'Lovesexy'. I've never heard another album - by himself or anyone else - that sounds like the latter, especially. But one which everyone can appreciate.

I suppose I want to have my cake and eat it.

No expectations.
