Prince converter album What Prince album do you think is his best to convert non-Prince fans?
I've had 4 people so far that have heard my Hits/ B-sides album. Just the B-sides disk and they were all blown away.

believe it or not, i won a convert over to the purple side by playing N.E.W.S. and the Xenophobia/C-NOTE tracks. They liked the fact that there was a whole other side to Prince's music that they weren't aware of, and that he isn't strictly all pop music. Those albums opened this convert up to the listening to the rest of Prince's stuff in a new perspective. Cool, huh?

My non-Prince fan friends seem to think that Musicology is brilliant
It's the only cd by him that most of them will jam along to for some odd reason If you will, so will I

you could probably do it with just one track: Lady Cab Driver
but if he has time then 1999, Parade, SOTT could do it.

I think it depends on the person, you can tell whether theyd be more open to say, "For You", "SOTT" or the really new stuff. Id have to say though, that if you play people SOTT, Purple Rain, or 1999, and they can still come up with a proper reason why its rubbish, well, theyre a bit strange. good music is good music, regardless of taste. I think.
