While sitting here waiting for the man to release something new to discuss, I decided to take a quick look back at how I feel about all of his past releases. Having a new baby, I didn’t have time for complete reviews so I challenged myself to review every release in 3 words or less. Feel free to critique any of my critiques or critique the albums in 3 words or less of your own.

It's not...but the excitement of hearing it on a grainy ass tape was so much better than hearing it on a pristine CD. By the time the CD had come on, the thrill of discovery was gone. It homogenized it for me. All good things they say never last... | |

Around the World in a Day A grower - fantastic. Parade Sounds like summertime. Sign O The Times His very best. Lovesexy Not THAT good. Batman Short on passion. Graffiti Bridge Classics and crap. Diamonds and Pearls Commercial, not good. Symbol Can't stand it. Hits A missed opportunity. Come Played it once. Black Album Pretty damn brilliant. Gold Comeback of sorts? Emancipation Quite unforgivably bad. Chaos and Disorder Will this do? Crystal Ball Somewhat murky The Truth Unusual, but fair. New Power Soul Didn't buy it. The Vault—Old Friends 4 Sale Threw mine away. Rave Un2the Joy Fantastic Made me ashamed (when I played it to my girlfriend saying "this is going to be great" then stopped it after about a minute and said "I'm sorry - this is dreadful.") 1999 The New Masters Never heard it.
